Zion Williamson is making headlines this season, not only for his performance on the court but also for his impressive health and fitness regimen. The young star of the New Orleans Pelicans is on track to secure a substantial salary for the upcoming seasons, needing to participate in just 61 games this year to achieve this milestone.
Right now, he is riding a remarkable streak of 29 consecutive games, putting him well on his way to reaching that financial goal. This season, Williamson has been showcasing his skills effectively, averaging an impressive 21 points per game.
What’s the secret behind his success? Williamson attributes much of his resilience and improved performance to the rigorous training he has committed to off the court. "A lot of the extra work I’ve been doing with my trainer, Kris, in the Pels as well," he explained. "I believe that this additional effort and my focus on taking care of my body have significantly contributed to my ability to play so many games in a row. At the same time, I also want to acknowledge the trust the team has placed in me, allowing me to increase my minutes on the floor. I’m genuinely pleased with that support."
Tonight, the Pelicans will face off against the Miami Heat at 7 PM, marking the last game before the much-anticipated All-Star break next weekend.
