Auburn star Keldric Faulk declares for NFL Draft
Keldric Faulk, Auburn’s standout defensive end, announced on Saturday that he will forgo remaining college eligibility and enter the 2026 NFL Draft, officially signaling the end of his Tigers career.
The Alabama-native shared a heartfelt message with Auburn supporters, expressing gratitude to his coaches, teammates, and family while reflecting on what it has meant to represent his home state school.
Over three seasons, Faulk evolved from a highly regarded in-state recruit into one of Auburn’s most disruptive defenders. His career totals include 109 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks.
In his statement, Faulk thanked defensive coordinator DJ Durkin and defensive line coaches Roc Bellantoni and Vontrell King-Williams for their guidance and for pushing him to elevate his game. He also acknowledged the university’s support staff and academic team for contributing to his development, and offered a moving tribute to his mother and brother for their steadfast encouragement.
“Everything about this journey began with faith, hard work, and home,” Faulk wrote. “With gratitude for where I’ve been and excitement for what’s ahead, I am declaring for the NFL Draft.”
Projections place Faulk as a potential first-round pick, with some scenarios suggesting even a high-first-round selection. He currently sits at No. 16 on Mel Kiper’s big board.

Everything about this journey started with faith, hard work, and home. Growing up in Alabama, it meant everything to stay in-state and represent Auburn University. Playing this game in front of my family, my community, and the people who raised me is something I’ll always be proud of.
